A 26-year-old man allegedly killed his wife in the early hours of Thursday on the suspicion of extramarital affairs in South-East Delhi’s Tughlakabad Extension area. A police officer gave this information. According to the officer, the accused hit his wife on the head with a cooker and cylinder. He said that the accused has been identified as Hasim Khan, a resident of Tughlakabad Extension and has been arrested.
According to the police, Hasim came to Govindpuri police station on Thursday morning and told that he had killed his wife. After this the police reached the spot. Police said Hasim’s wife Shaheen Khan (20) was found dead on the bed at the spot. According to the police, the accused suspected that his wife had an extramarital affair with a youth named Salman.
A senior police officer said that the cooker and cylinder used for the blow on the woman’s head have been confiscated.
According to the official, Hasim, an auto driver by profession, married Shaheen in June 2018 and the two had no children.
