New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with his wife Sonal and son Jay Shah attended the special screening of Bollywood movie ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ in Delhi on Wednesday. After watching the movie, he praised the cast and crew of the period drama. He said that as a student of history, he not only enjoyed watching the film, which depicted India’s cultural wars, but also got lost in the way Indians were portrayed in this cinema. Amit Shah said that after 13 years he was watching a film in the theater with his family. It was a very happy moment for his family, who were sitting in the last row along with the cast and crew of the film.
Amit Shah said that the film really reflects the Indian culture of respecting and empowering women. The film gave a very strong message about the political power and freedom of choice that women enjoyed in the medieval era.
After praising the cinema, Amit Shah started coming out, but his wife Sonal stood there, as she did not know where to go. In such a situation, Amit Shah, who came after seeing the cinema, came into the character and told his wife Sonal in a filmy style, ” Chaliye Hakum”. On hearing this, the audience started laughing, due to which Sonal was shocked.
Meanwhile, son Jay Shah came forward and took him to Amit Shah and then all together left the Chanakya Film Hall. Let us tell you that this was probably the first time that Amit Shah along with his family members had come to the theater to watch a film in the capital.
