A petition has been filed against SpiceJet in the Delhi High Court. This petition has been filed regarding the persistent technical fault in SpiceJet’s planes. The petition also mentions to stop the operation of the aircraft and refund the money to the passenger. Let us tell you that this petition has been filed by Rahul Bhardwaj (Lawyer) in Delhi High Court. The matter will be heard on Monday. The Chief Justice of the High Court will hear the matter.
The petition filed by Rahul Bhardwaj has also sought the formation of a commission to probe the incidents. The petition alleges that SpiceJet has violated the basic principles of the rule of law. Let us tell you that in the last 24-25 days, there were technical problems in many SpiceJet aircraft.
SpiceJet under regulatory scrutiny
It is worth noting that anyway SpiceJet is still under regulatory scrutiny. The DGCA had on July 6 issued a show-cause notice to SpiceJet after at least eight incidents of technical glitches in the aircraft since June 19. DGCA is currently investigating all these incidents. DGCA had said that the cheap service provider company has failed to provide safe, effective and reliable air service.
