Mumbai: Sudhir Chaudhary will work as a consulting editor for Aaj Tak. He recently announced his resignation from his position as chief executive officer of Zee Media, where he had worked for more than ten years as a news broadcaster.
In a letter to him, Kalli Purie, vice chairman of India Today Group, said: “Aaj Tak and Sudhir are working together to bring a brand-new, exciting show with him as the host to our 100 million viewers. Supriya Prasad, director of news, will oversee this programme.”
Last seen on the highly acclaimed, record-breaking, TRP television programme DNA, Sudhir. He has one of the biggest social media followings and a long list of honours from renowned institutions.
For his new endeavour, Sudhir left Zee Media. Regarding his fresh start, Purie continued, “I’m delighted he made a decision that won’t let his loyal followers down since they mean the world to him. It’s great that he’s partnered with us on his first initiative, and I hope we can collaborate again on future endeavours. I also wish him well with his non-news projects.”
