Lakhimpur: Another shocking incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh. The body of a minor girl was recovered from a nearby sugarcane field in a village in Lakhimpur Kheri district on Tuesday night. The girl had strangulation marks on her neck. The parents of the deceased girl allege that it is a case of rape and murder. In the police complaint, the parents alleged that they found their daughter’s dupatta wrapped around her neck.
When the incident came to light when their 13-year-old daughter did not return from the fields even after several hours, the parents panicked. Later, some local shepherds entered the sugarcane fields to trace their goat and saw the girl’s body. He immediately informed the other villagers and his parents.
