Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is going to take over the power of Uttar Pradesh once again, called a cabinet meeting at his official residence at 5 pm on Friday. CM Yogi has held this last cabinet meeting of the last term. After this, CM Yogi reached Raj Bhavan in Lucknow to resign and submitted his resignation to Governor Anandiben Patel. After resigning, CM Yogi has now started preparing for the swearing-in ceremony.
Let us inform that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presided over the cabinet meeting to be held at his official residence, Panch Kalidas Marg in the evening. The resolution to dissolve the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly was approved in this meeting. CM Yogi Adityanath submitted his resignation to Governor Anandiben Patel after going to Raj Bhavan late in the evening after getting approval for the dissolution of the assembly.
Significantly, for the formation of the 18th Legislative Assembly in Uttar Pradesh, the assembly elections were held in seven phases from February 10 to March 7. The result of which was declared on Thursday. In which BJP and allies got a clear majority to form the government by winning 273 seats. Now the process of government formation will start.
In Uttar Pradesh, the BJP was successful in forming the government again, but eleven ministers, including Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, lost the election.
