NEW DELHI : Recently, the matter of kite flying was aroused in High Court on Friday. Delhi High Court refused to impose any kind of ban on this cultural activity as it binds the people together on this auspicious day.
Disposing a public interest litigation that sought action against the sale of Chinese Manjha and a ban of flying ,sale, purchase, storage and transportation of kites as many people and animals have been injured due to that glass coated string.
Kite flying cannot be banned or stopped as this cultural venture and religious activity are associated together, says Delhi High Court.
