Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Chairman JP Nadda opened the Party’s National Leaders Meeting at the Hyderabad International Convention Center on Saturday ahead of the Bharatiya Janata Party National Executive Committee Meeting (BJP) two days. A group of dancers performed in front of the International Convention Center, where the BJP National Executive Committee meeting will begin today. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was on his way to Hyderabad to attend the National Executive Meeting. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Hyderabad today to attend the meeting.
Union Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah, Ministers of 19 states and other senior BJP leaders at the Hyderabad International Convention Center will also attend the meeting. Prime Minister Modi is expected to address the national executive on Sunday.
In his speech, the Prime Minister is expected to lay out the roadmap for the party going forward, especially regarding the Parliamentary elections in major states like Gujarat. This is the first time a meeting has been held with the full participation of the BJP’s national executive members since the Covid-19 pandemic. The last meeting, which took place in November 2021, took place in a mixed manner, in which the leaders were physically present and barely present. The entire city of Hyderabad was decorated in a saffron color with BJP flags and banners before the big party performance. The posters showcase the achievements of the central government. Every corner of the city is decorated with large pictures and banners of top BJP leaders.
Meetings of the National Secretary Generals and the National Office Members, followed by the National Executive Meeting will be held on 2 July and a public meeting will be held at the Parade Grounds. on July 3 with a speech by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. There will be a photo exhibition where senior leaders and photos of previous national executives will gather and key events will be on display today at 6pm. Earlier on Friday, Nadda hosted a meeting of party secretaries in Hyderabad. Team leader BJP organized a big roadshow when he arrived in Hyderabad. The BJP’s move comes at a time when Telangana is heading towards council elections in 2023 and the BJP sees huge prospects in bringing down the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi government.
