PM Modi Karnataka Visit: PM Narendra Modi is on a two-day (PM Modi Karnataka Visit) tour of Karnataka from today i.e. Monday. During this, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of rail and road infrastructure projects worth more than Rs 28,000 crore. PM will also participate in Yoga Day tomorrow i.e. on 21st June.
PM addressed the public meeting in Bangalore and told that today the foundation stone of 5 National Highway projects, 7 railway projects has been laid in Karnataka. We have witnessed an important milestone of 100 percent electrification of Konkan Railway. All these projects will give new facilities, new opportunities to the youth, middle class, farmers, workers, entrepreneurs of Karnataka.
Bangalore has been the city of dreams
He said that Bengaluru is the city of dreams for lakhs of youth of the country. Bangalore is a reflection of the spirit of Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat. The development of Bangalore is the development of millions of dreams. Therefore, in the last 8 years, it has been a continuous effort of the Central Government to increase the strength of Bangalore. The PM said, “Rail, road, metro, underpass, flyover, double engine government is working on all possible means to get Bangalore free from jam. In order to connect the suburban areas of Bangalore with better connectivity. Our government is committed to this.”
During the address, the PM said that, “Indian Railways is now getting faster, it is getting clean, it is also getting modern, it is also becoming safe and it is also becoming citizen friendly. The rail has also been taken to those parts where it was difficult to even think about it. He said that Indian Railways is now trying to provide those facilities and atmosphere which was once found only in airports and air travel. The modern railway station built in Bangalore (Bengaluru) in the name of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya is also a direct proof of this.
