PM Modi Maharashtra Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going on a one-day visit to Maharashtra today. PM Modi will start this tour with the inauguration of Jagatguru Sreesanth Tukaram Maharaj temple at Dehu in Pune city. According to the information, the Prime Minister will then attend a function organized at the Raj Bhavan in which Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will also be present. Both the leaders will be seen together on a single stage, for which special security arrangements have been made.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Jal Bhushan Bhawan and the Gallery of Revolutionaries at the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai at around 4:15 pm. Along with this, the new residence of the Governor will also be unveiled in which from the Governor to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister will be present. Let us tell you, PM Modi and Uddhav Thackeray will meet today after a year.
The last meeting between the two took place in the first week of June last year. During that time Uddhav Thackeray had reached the country’s capital Delhi with a delegation of the state government. After this meeting, which lasted for 30 minutes, Uddhav said while talking to the media that, there is nothing surprising in this meeting, we may not be together politically but our relationship is not broken.
The foundation stone of the new building was laid by the President in the year 2019
Let us tell you, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Jal Bhushan Bhawan and the Gallery of Revolutionaries at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai. Jal Bhushan has been the official residence of the Governor of Maharashtra since 1885. Upon completion of the life of the building, it was demolished and a new building was approved in its place. The foundation stone of the new building was laid by the President in August, 2019. All the distinctive features of the old building have been preserved in the newly constructed building.
