The process of election of the new President in the country is now in the final stage. Under which the curtain is going to be raised on Thursday i.e. 21st July in the name of the new President of India. For this, preparations have been finalized on a large scale in the Parliament of the country. It is expected that the people of the country and the world will know about the name of the new President of India by Thursday afternoon. Out of which NDA’s candidate Draupadi Murmu and one of the opposition’s joint candidate Yashwant Sinha are set to get the final seal as President. However, the market of speculation and discussions about who will become the 15th President of the country is already hot.
Counting of votes will start from 11 am on Thursday
The election process for the election of the new President in the country had started from June. Under which the notification for the Presidential election was issued on June 16. In this episode, on July 18, the process of voting for the Presidential election was organized in all the Legislative Assemblies of the country and both the houses of Parliament. After which now these votes are to be counted on July 21. Counting of votes will start from 11 am on Thursday as per the schedule.
Special preparations have been made in the Parliament for the counting of votes for the Presidential election. For this, a counting center has been made in room number 63 of the Parliament House. At the same time, in view of the seriousness of the election, room number 63 of the Parliament House has been declared as a silent zone. Whereas on July 19, before starting the process of counting, ballot papers from the Legislative Assemblies of all the states have been brought to the Parliament House amid security. According to the information, with the completion of the counting of votes, the results will also be declared.
There is a contest between Draupadi Murmu and Yashwant Sinha
There is a direct contest between Draupadi Murmu and Yashwant Sinha for the 15th President of the country. In fact, Daupadri Murmu was made its candidate by the BJP-led NDA. While all the opposition parties had jointly nominated Yashwant Sinha. However, many opposition parties have also supported the BJP’s campaign to make the country’s first tribal president. Under which it is feared that there was cross voting in the election.
99 percent voter turnout in the presidential election
This time there was 99 percent voting for the Presidential election. According to the data of the Election Commission, 99 percent of the total 4,796 electors have voted for the Presidential election. Out of which 10 states and the Union Territory of Puducherry saw 100% voting.
