CM Yogi Visit To Uttarakhand: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be on a three-day visit to Uttarakhand from today. Here CM Yogi will first come to Guru Gorakhnath Government College located in Bithyani village of Pauri Garhwal to unveil the statue of his Guru Mahant Avaidyanath. This college was also built by Yogi Adityanath.
Dr. MP Nagwal, principal of Guru Gorakhnath Government College, says, “Yogi Adityanath had formed the Guru Gorakhnath Education Committee in 1998, and registered it in 1999, its president is Yogi Adityanath himself. People here donated land from nearby villages. And got affiliation with Hemvatinandan Bahuguna University in the year 2005 and BA first year class started here from the year 2005. The financial help came from Guru Gorakhnath Education Committee. After that in the year 2018, Uttarakhand government declared it as a government college.
Influenced by Guru Mahant Avaidyanath, CM Yogi became a monk
Yogi Adityanath’s guru Mahant Avaidyanath, whose statue Yogi Adityanath is coming to unveil, was also a resident of Kandi village, located just a few blocks away from Panchur, Yogi Adityanath’s village. Mahant Avaidyanath’s childhood name was Kirpal Singh Bisht. The people of Kandi village say that Yogi Adityanath was their distant relative. During his college days, Yogi Adityanath came in contact with Mahant Avaidyanath and influenced by him, Yogi Adityanath took his retirement. Mahant Avaidyanath had declared Shri Yogi Adityanath as his successor.
CM Yogi will meet his mother and his studied friends
A big pandal is being built near the venue of the college campus, where CM Yogi Adityanath will address his childhood friends and all the people of this area. The people who studied with Yogi Adityanath and his childhood friends are very happy. All the ministers including Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will also participate in this program. After unveiling the idol of his guru Mahant Avaidyanath, Yogi Adityanath will go to his village to seek the blessings of his mother. It is being told that he will reach here in the evening and Yogi Adityanath will stay at his house at night.

Will leave for Dehradun from Lucknow around 11.30 am
He will be welcomed in Dehradun then will go to Bithyani village by helicopter
There is a program around 3 pm, there will be a meeting
