All India Muslim Personal Law Board: The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), the premier organization of Muslims in India, has called an urgent meeting of its executive committee on 17 May. In this meeting, other issues including Gyanvapi Masjid, Tipu Sultan Masjid will be discussed. Also, the board will decide its future course of action.
Earlier, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board had termed as “unjust” the ban on eating Wuzu at the mosque on the orders of the court after the Shivling was allegedly found in Gyanvapi Masjid in Varanasi. The board had said that this entire incident is nothing more than a conspiracy to create communal frenzy.
Board General Secretary said – the mosque is and will remain
The General Secretary of the Board, Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, said in a statement issued late on Monday that the Gyanvapi Masjid is a mosque and will remain a mosque. The attempt to call it a temple is nothing more than a conspiracy to create communal frenzy. It is against the constitutional rights and the law. He further said that in the year 1937, in the case of Deen Mohammad Vs State Secretary, the court had decided on the basis of oral testimony and documents that this entire compound (Gyanvapi Mosque Complex) belonged to the Muslim Waqf and Muslims had the right to offer Namaz in it. is entitled. The court had also decided that how much is a mosque and how much is a temple. At the same time, eating Wuzu was accepted as the property of the mosque.
questioned the role of the court
The General Secretary of the Board said that then in 1991 the Places of Worship Act was passed by the Parliament, revealing that the worship places as they were in 1947 will be maintained on the same condition. In the judgment of the Babri Masjid case in the year 2019, the Supreme Court had very clearly said that now all worship places will be under this law and this law is according to the foundation of Dastur Hind. He also questioned the role of the court of the Civil Judge (Senior Division) of Varanasi, saying that the requirement of law was that the court would have immediately rejected the claim of the mosque having a temple, but alas, that the civil court of Banaras had decided against the site. Issued orders for survey and videography. The Waqf Board has approached the High Court in this regard and the case is pending there.
Board General Secretary said – this order is excess
Similarly, the Prabandia Committee of Gyanvapi Masjid has also approached the Supreme Court against this decision of the Civil Court. Even there, this issue is in the hearing, but ignoring all these things, the civil court first issued the order of the survey and then, accepting its report, issued an order to stop the portion of eating Wuzu. This order is excessive and also a violation of law, which cannot be expected from a court at all. This action of the court has injured the advocates of justice, so the government should immediately stop the implementation of this decision, wait for the decision of the Allahabad High Court and protect all religious places according to the 1991 law.
muslim will not tolerate
Rehmani, referring to the arguments of the Hindu side of having a temple inside the mosque, said that if the status of the places of worship is changed on the basis of such conceivable arguments, then the whole country will become a victim of chaos, because how many big temples are Buddhist. And Jain shrines have been built by converting and their visible traces are also present. Muslims cannot tolerate this atrocity at all. All India Muslim Personal Law Board will fight this injustice at every level.
Court has sealed to eat Wuzu
It is worth noting that a Shivling was purportedly found in survey videography conducted inside the Gyanvapi Masjid on Monday and after this, the Vaju Khana has been sealed on the directions of a local court in Varanasi. However, the Muslim side is disproving this claim, saying that all the mosques built during the Mughal period used to have a fountain inside the Wuzu Khana. He says that the stone which is being told as Shivling is a part of the same fountain.
