Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Dispute: In the dispute of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Idgah Masjid of Mathura, UP, a case has also been filed in the court that the Deities of Shri Krishna and other deities were buried in the foundation of the mosque in the Begum Masjid of Agra Fort. To remove this, a petition has been filed in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division. This petition has been filed on behalf of the main litigants Mahendra Pratap Singh, Shyamlal Pandit and Manmohan Das.
According to the petition, after the temple of Lord Keshav Dev was demolished by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, Aurangzeb buried the Deities of God in the steps of the mosque of Begum Sahiba. So those deities should be taken out again.
Debris buried in the steps of Jama Masjid
In this case, the famous historian Rajkishore Raje, who belongs to Agra, says that it is true that Lord Krishna and other Deities were demolished and brought to Agra on the orders of Aurangzeb, not only the temples of Mathura were broken but the temples of other places were also destroyed. His debris was also broken and brought to Agra but these Deities were buried in the steps of Jama Masjid. Which was built by Aurangzeb’s sister Jahanara Begum in the year 1648.
Mentioned in many books
Rajkishore Raje said that there are 3 mosques in Agra Fort, but there is no such mosque where these Deities were buried, but they were buried in the mosque built by Jahanara Begum, which is called Jama Masjid. Rajkishore Raje mentions many historical books about this, it is clearly written in those books that during that period the deities of many deities including Lord Krishna were broken and he was buried in the steps of Jama Masjid of Agra.
