A Dalit woman, upset with Unnao’s SP leader, jumped in front of Akhilesh Yadav’s car in Lucknow on Monday. The woman also tried to commit suicide by pouring petrol. The incident took place when Akhilesh Singh Yadav was going to his house. However, Akhilesh did not come out of the car. The woman alleges that Unnao’s SP leader Rajol Singh has kidnapped her daughter for two months. No one is helping them in this matter.
Kidnapped on 8th December
A woman resident of Unnao Sadar Kotwali area had filed a case in Kotwali by giving a complaint. In this, the woman had told that on December 8, 2021, her daughter was kidnapped as well as assaulted. The police registered a case under the SC-ST Act including kidnapping. Even after a lapse of one and a half months, the police could not recover Rita Devi’s daughter.
Unnao police activated after the incident
The girl’s father Mukesh told that he went to the SP 5 times, to the CO 5-6 times. Went to DM 3-4 times. I also met MLA Pankaj Gupta 3 to 4 times and complained about the matter. But, no officer is listening to us. The relatives had come to the SP office and pleaded for justice.
However, troubled by no hearing, the woman tried to commit suicide by jumping in front of Akhilesh Yadav’s car outside the Samajwadi Party office in Lucknow on Monday. After this Unnao police has become active.
Action not being taken due to influence
Rita Devi wife Mukesh, a resident of Kashiram of Unnao Sadar Kotwali area, had applied in the SP office on the previous day. In this, he had told that his 22-year-old daughter Pooja was kidnapped on December 8, 2021 by Rajol Singh alias Arun Singh, son of Fateh Bahadur resident Kalyani Devi, along with several of his companions while going to the market.
After complaining to the top officials, the police registered a case on the basis of Tahrir. But due to Fateh Bahadur Singh being a former minister, the police is neither arresting Rajol Singh nor has he been able to recover her daughter Pooja from 50 days.
The accused is called CO, he takes a week’s time
The victim’s father Mukesh told that he is constantly pleading with CO City Kripashankar for justice. CO calls Rajol Singh, he asks for a week’s time. Called him on Monday also. But, even today did not bring our daughter. He said – give a week’s time, I will bring the girl. Today again asking for a week’s time.
