After the sentencing of Lalu Prasad, his younger son and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav has appealed to the supporters to accept the verdict. Tejashwi has said that he will challenge it in the upper courts.
Tejashwi said that everyone should accept the court’s decision. He said this is not the final decision. He has been sentenced 6 times before this. All the cases have gone to court. Tejashwi said that Lalu Prasad will definitely be acquitted.
Will fight till Supreme Court
RJD state president Jagdanand Singh has said that till the final order of the judiciary is not done, we hope that justice will be done. Jagdanand Singh also reiterated that we will go to the Supreme Court for justice. Along with this, Jagdanand Singh said that Lalu Prasad is a symbol of communal harmony of the country.
Congress said Lalu Prasad is being implicated
On the other hand, RJD spokesperson said that the party will not be affected by Lalu Prasad’s conviction. RJD spokesperson Iqbal Ahmed said that Lalu Prasad is seriously ill.
