New Delhi: A huge lapse in the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has come to the fore. In fact, when PM Modi’s convoy was going towards the National Martyrs Museum located at Hussainwala in the Firozpur district of Punjab, some protesters blocked the road at that time. Due to this, the PM’s convoy was stuck on the flyover for about fifteen to 20 minutes. Punjab Deputy CM Sukhjinder Randhawa said that there was a lack of coordination between Punjab Police and SPG. Action will be taken against the culprits. I didn’t know about PM Modi’s route. The DGP will give the report within 24 hours. Talks took place between DGP and SPG. The Punjab government was not kept in the loop. The farmers did not have a plan for demonstration in advance. Gajendra Shekhawat had a talk with the farmers.
PM Modi’s rally in Punjab today has been cancelled. This rally of PM Modi was to be held in Ferozepur. The Home Ministry said that PM Modi’s rally was canceled due to a security lapse.

The Home Ministry says that it is taking cognizance of this serious security lapse and has sought a detailed report from the state government. The state government has also been asked to fix the responsibility of this lapse and take strict action.
The Home Ministry said that this morning the PM reached Bathinda from where he was to go to the National Martyrs Memorial at Hussainiwala by helicopter. The PM waited for about 20 minutes for the weather to clear due to rain and poor visibility. When the weather did not improve, it was decided that he would visit the National Meritorious Memorial by road, which would take more than 2 hours. He proceeded to travel by road after DGP Punjab Police confirmed the necessary security arrangements. About 30 km from the National Martyrs Memorial in Hussainiwala, when the PM’s convoy reached a flyover, it was found that some protesters had blocked the road. The PM was stuck on the flyover for 15-20 minutes. This was a big lapse in the security of the PM. The Punjab government was informed in advance about the Prime Minister’s schedule and travel plans. As per the procedure, they will have to make necessary arrangements for logistics, security as well as keeping a contingency plan ready. Also in view of the contingency plan, the Punjab government would have to deploy additional security to secure any movement by road, which were clearly not deployed. After this security lapse, it was decided to return to Bathinda airport.
Nadda raised questions on the Punjab government
On this incident, BJP national president JP Nadda said that fearing a crushing defeat at the hands of voters, the Congress government of Punjab tried every possible trick to stop PM Modi’s program. In doing so he did not care that the PM had to pay tribute to Bhagat Singh and other martyrs, and lay the foundation stone for major development works. The Congress government in Punjab has shown by their lousy antics that they are anti-development and have no respect for the freedom fighters as well.
He further wrote that the very worrying thing is that as far as the PM is concerned, this incident was also a big lapse in security. The protesters were allowed to go in the way of the Prime Minister while the CS and DGP of Punjab assured the SPG that the way was clear. To make matters worse, CM Channi refused to speak on the phone or resolve it. The tactics used by the Congress government in Punjab will hurt anyone who believes in democratic principles. The state police were instructed to stop people from attending the rally. A large number of buses were stranded due to the strictness of the police and the collusion of the protesters.
It is said that this visit of PM got interrupted to launch development projects worth thousands of crores for Punjab. But we will not allow such a poor mentality to hinder the progress of Punjab and will continue our efforts for the development of Punjab.
