Gas supply to Germany and Denmark stopped
Russia has cut off gas supplies to Germany and Denmark. Russian gas company Gazprom said that in view of the current situation, it is stopping the supply of gas to Danish energy company Orsted. Along with this, Germany’s Shell Energy Company is also stopping the delivery of gas. The Russian company said that until the payment dispute with these countries is resolved, the gas supply will not be started.
Earlier, both German and Danish companies had sent messages to Russian company Gazprom via Telegram saying they would not be able to continue making payments in rubles. After this, the Russian company took action against both of them and stopped their supply. The Russian company said that this supply would stop from Wednesday.
Western countries have imposed sanctions on Russia

In view of this hostile behavior of Western countries, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an order on March 31 regarding non-friendly countries. It was said in this order that if those countries refuse to pay in rubles, then the contracts with them can be stopped.
