Storm in US: At least one person was killed and more than 40 people were injured after a severe storm hit Gaylord city in northern Michigan, US on Friday. Vehicles overturned, buildings blown off roofs and trees uprooted power poles due to the impact of the storm. The storm hit the city of Gaylord, about 370 kilometers northwest of Detroit, where about 4,200 people live at about 3:45 p.m. local time.
Car repair shop owner Mike Klepadlow said he and his staff took refuge in the bathroom.
